On-page SEO vs. Off-page SEO

On-page SEO includes the factors that you can optimise on your website in order improve your position in the search engine. This comprises of things like content, site speed, page structure, keyword search, header text and more. On the other hand, Off-page SEO includes factors that are not exclusively in your control. It consists of activities on other websites, blogs or social media. In other words, it mostly refers to links. But why do you need to implement a combination of on-page and off-page SEO?

Authority & Credibility

Good ranking on search engines is good feedback for your website and your business. Let's face it, people trust Google, so if they think you deserve to be on the first page and ranked top, that means you have something of value to offer.

An optimised website means you gain organic or natural position on search engines, without having to allocate a budget for paid advertising to gain a foothold on the front page. This is means you spend less and yet gain the visibility your business deserves.

Better Quality Leads

Better ranked sites bring higher quality leads and in turn better qualified potential customers to your site. These better quality leads mean your conversion rates will improve as will your revenue and eventually the company's profits.

Gain Insight

With good search engine optimisation you will be able to understand your customers better and the search terms or keywords that they are using to get the information they need. This will help you create more targeted content that your audience will lap up.

Is SEO really that critical?

Research shows that up to 61% of marketers say improving SEO and growing their organic presence is their top inbound marketing priority.
